Actually used this nut to restore an old Japanese 1966 Guyatone. Worked fantastic.

Just needed a bit of filing to smooth off edges after mounting. Works great!

Someone had changed the nut on a 360/12 I recently purchased so the octave strings were reversed and butchered their make-shift nut to boot.
I purchased this, sanded the nut bottom to the desired height, the nut width is right on, glued it in, put on new strings, did a setup and …..it plays great.

I got this to replace a badly cut nut on a 620/12 I recently acquired. It now plays like a champ! The price was pretty decent, too.

Interesting, i bought this nut based on the "Amazing difference June 2 2014" review. which had me sold as i was looking to do the same nut mod to my 2010 360/12c63. i first read elsewhere that its possible to buy the stock nut that has slightly wider string spacing. Figured this was it. Other than being a little taller, the nut i received was identical to the stock one that came on my guitar. i have since read that the nut im looking for is now no longer made. i ended up using this one anyway, filed the notch side right down (thanks to the extra nut height) and made new wider space notches between the pairs of strings. seems fine but i'll have to see how it holds up. meanwhile if there is a wider spaced nut out there, someone please let me know...thanks. 3 stars because its a fine nut but its not what other forums, websites and reviews suggest it is.

perfect fit for my 1967 456/12 Rick, shaved off about 2/23 on the height and it fit perfectly

Funny how such a very small change in string spacing can make all the difference. I couldn't even play my 360/12 before. I still need to take just a little more off the back side of the nut to get it spot on. But I can actually play those cowboy cords now without getting all tangled up. Amazing! Next, I might have to spring for the 12 saddle bridge.
