Don't know why Ric discontinued these tv style knobs on any of their guitars, they just look right on a Ric and add that little style detail.
They also allow you to more readily check your settings/positions and I personally find it easier to make quick adjustments on the fly.
Pick of the Ricks customer service was quick to respond to any queries and for an online service I actually felt like the people on the other end really cared for and appreciated my business. So glad they are there, these knobs are not easy to come by...even on the West Coast!

I Recently ordered some TV knob for a Customer of mine to retro fit a "Rickenbackished" type guitar, the result were as expected right on the ticket, the fit and the look is beyond reproach, way to go go, Get them while they're hot!

Great classic design

These knobs compliment a 381v69 Rickenbacker that has gold pickguard. With this classic design, the instrument now has the look of a vintage Capri. On a functional level, the point-design also gives the best visual indication of where you have your tone & volume pots positioned. These knobs are both practical and beautiful to look at.

I got these to replace the stock knobs on my 660/12, and they match the gold pickguard perfectly! It really completes the 50s styling. I wish they'd make a smaller version for the 5th knob.
