I love the sound of the TI Jazz Flats. The tension is lighter than roundwounds but these TI flats don't feel flabby at all.
I would not hesitate to order another set when the time comes to replace the old set.

My first experience with flat wounds on my 4003. Sales experience was great, the strings are the correct length, and they look good with the red cloth wrap. Sound really good and easy to play. Maybe its the lighter tension and smooth feel.. I've used standard Rickenbacker round wounds up till now.

These are my main strings on a number of basses. Easy on the fingers and frets. They seem to last a long time so the price is not an issue. Give them a try and you will be surprised at how nice they are. They don't have the full ringing tone of brights but they do have a great range.

I was very afraid to try any other gauge on my ric other than the standard, but these work out nice. I tune in C standard and sometimes drop to A# and they feel fine!! The guitarist and I both felt you could hear the higher notes WAY better than the RICKENBACKER standards I had on.. overall VERY pleased with these strings, even tho they are kinda pricey... but will be worth it in the end as long as they are durable and ease up on my fretwear that the roundwounds were doing.

Three of my four basses, including The Ric, are strung with TI Jazz Flats. Love the tone, feel and durability of them.
TI JF344 + Rickenbacker Bass = Sonic Awesomeness.

I hesitated on buying these strings for about a year, and I would beg you not to make the same mistake.
The perfect mix between thumpy earthiness and ringing overtones. Makes your bass sound like a piano. I put mine on an EGC Series One, and I'm positive they would sound amazing on a Ric as well.
